Bethany's Three-year Check Up

In December, 2008, we took Bethany to get a flu shot. It was such a painful experience that she cried all day long. Since then she has been afraid of doctors.

This time, as soon as we arrived at the doctor's office, Bethany realized the jig was up. Bethany started panicking.

Neither the nurse nor the doctor had it easy as she squirmed, wiggled, and cried. It was more like a Mexican wrestling match, but without the masks - Nacho Libre! Luckily, Bethany didn't need any shots. In the end, we all survived.

After the match, we went to Red Robin and then for a well deserved trip to Chuck E. Cheese, which helped Bethany calm down and forget all about the doctor's office.

Here we are at our favorite Thai/Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant. I am eating Pho and Bethany is eating egg drop soup and house low mein. Rick is eating Thai rice. Can't really remember the name of the dish but it was so good.

Here, we are at Meijer's getting our money back. Everytime we buy sodas the store takes a $0.10 deposit for every bottle and can purchased. In order to get the money back, we need to go thru this return process. Bethany loves to go to Meijer's and this is another reason why.

This is the way Bethany likes to start the New Year (making a mess). She said, “Look mami, I made snow”.
She makes the mess she picks it up (most of the time) ;)
